Diffuse thyroid alopecia

The lack or excess of the hormones T3 (Triiodothyronine) and T4 (Tetrayodotironina) produced in the Thyroid glands, they can generate a diffuse thyroid alopecia.

Main causes:

Hormonal factor: alteration of the T3 and T4 thyroid glands, they affect both hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism.
